Privacy policy
It is the policy of Brownswood Music Limited to respect the privacy of our users, customers and industry contacts. That includes visitors to the website ic-joy.com , individuals who sign up to receive updates from us and relevant contacts within the music and journalism industries. We have created this privacy policy to explain how we collect, use, and store your information.
We collect data for different reasons. In this policy we will explain the different instances in which we need to collect it, the reason for doing so, and how you can opt out from us holding your data.
We collect data for our marketing e-mails when you sign up to receive updates from us. We have different mailing lists for different interests or topics, and the sign-up form for each will make clear what list you’re signing up for.
You can opt-out at any time. The data for the lists is processed by Mailchimp. You can read more about Mailchimp in their privacy policy here.
You can contact us about our privacy policy, to make queries or to lodge a complaint, at this email address: info@brownswoodrecordings.com.
You also have the right to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office about any complaints.
We collect data about relevant journalists and contacts within the music industry. We use this data to update them about projects or events which we think would be relevant to their work. We process that data securely, and ensure that it’s only accessible to relevant members of the team. It’s possible for them to contact us at any point to opt-out and request that we stop holding their data.
We also use Mailchimp to send updates to journalists and music industry contacts, on the same basis as in the above. In that instance, the data is processed by Mailchimp. You can read more about Mailchimp in their privacy policy here.
